Hey everyone! I hope you all had a lovely week. I didn’t have much time to read this week…too busy here at home, especially with our new pets! But I did find some great links this week!

Here is some lovely posts for your weekend reading! 🙂

Art and DIY

The Best Creative Lessons I’ve Ever Learnt by From Roses – This post is wonderful. Rebecca is so right on all the points she raises, but the one I really resonate with is that we are all creative. It can be easy to forget that as we get older…some of us are even lead to believe that we just aren’t creative. But we are! We are all born creatives. Great read!

DIY Dresser Makeover with Furniture Paint by Craving Some Creativity – Wow! This dresser turned out wonderful! I recently painted one of our very outdated dressers to go with our never-ending bedroom remodel. While I do like it, it didn’t turn out as wonderful as this one! I am definitely going to have to remember this for future painting projects!

DIY Modern Address Plate by The DIY Playbook – I love this! Our house is really dated and the outside needs some serious improvements. I have to admit, I’m kinda stuck on most of those, but I have vague plans to do a lot of improvements next year? Anyways, I might not wait until next year for this one! I love this idea, though I would probably not stain it and would paint instead. Our house is a dark brown, so staining would just blend it into the house 🙂

Health and Fitness

5 Things That Could be Standing in the Way of Your Fitness Goals by The Fitnessista – Love these! It can be frustrating when you feel like you are stuck on your goals, not progressing the way you think you should be or having difficulty with motivation. This post from Gina has some great ways to deal with just those things!

Hair and Beauty

10 Hacks for Hair Happiness by Hair Romance – Christina does it again with fantastic tips. I can’t wait to try some of these out! The last tips I talked about here were super helpful!

That’s it for this week! Did you have a post you loved, or maybe posted something yourself? I would love to check it out, so be sure to drop a link below!

  1. Oh, I am so happy to hear you loved my $25 dresser. I am going to post the sort-of matching bed soon. I am going to check out some of the other links. I can definitely use some more hair happiness in my life, haha.
